The 30th Tuzla ENT School, a jubilee edition of this important professional event, was held from May 21 to 23, 2026. The event was organized by the ORL School Tuzla – ENT School Tuzla Association, the Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tuzla.
The event was supported by the Assembly and Government of Tuzla Canton, while the Medical Chamber of Tuzla Canton participated as co-organizer.
This year’s ENT School brought together renowned experts in otorhinolaryngology from Turkey, Austria, England, Serbia, Montenegro and Slovenia, as well as a large number of specialists from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to the Head of the Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery at UKC Tuzla, Dr. Majda Mujić, the aim of the meeting, in addition to exchanging experiences and presenting the latest achievements in otorhinolaryngology, was also to mark several important anniversaries.
“Today we are celebrating 30 years of successful work of the ENT School in Tuzla, 45 years since the establishment of the ENT Department at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tuzla, and 25 years since the first cochlear implant was performed at our clinic,” said Dr. Mujić.
The President of the Organizing Committee of the 30th Tuzla ENT School, Prof. Fuad Brkić, emphasized the importance of this type of education for both doctors and nurses.
“As in previous years, we have a large number of invited lecturers who will enrich the professional program with their knowledge and experience and provide an excellent opportunity for the exchange of new ideas and experiences in the field of otorhinolaryngology,” said Prof. Brkić.
The University Clinical Center Tuzla places great importance on organizing scientific and professional meetings in order to improve continuous medical education.
